As the STFUniverse expands, we will continually add new ships to the roster. At launch we plan to have 5 ships available, one from each of the primary classes.
FQ-4T “Sabre”: Fast and lethal, the FQ-4 Sabre was one of the first combat drones developed after the HR Agreement of 2260. Despite being an older design, Starbright frequently updates the Sabre- keeping it popular with new pilots and training academies.
BA-23 “Xanadu”: Powerful and sturdy, the Xanadu was one of the earliest combat drones released following the 2260 “Gentlemen’s” HR Agreement. Updated and re-released by Starbright, the Xanadu remains popular with cadets and their instructors.
MS-11R “Epimetheus”: Sleek and vigorous, the Epimetheus supports teams by restoring damaged shields using its “energy converter” tool. Considered the “mechanic” ship, it is still one of the best choices for “babysitting” rookie pilots and support convoys through high stress zones.
EM-18C “Pioneer”: Sturdy explorer, the Pioneer was initially designed as a Scout ship. However, as more and more expeditions were conducted, it became clear that the Pioneer’s hauling capacity wasn’t prepared for the marvelous wonders it could find. Pioneers were cheap and easy to manufacture, so it wasn’t much of an effort to upgrade it with a better hauling capacity.
4X “Prospector”: Designed for maximum harvesting yield, the Prospector sacrifices maneuverability and ruggedness to squeeze every drop of power out of its mining laser. It has good forward speed and reasonable damage output, but should avoid drawn-out engagements.
