# Asteroid Run Co-op

## Stake your claim on a Kuiper belt Asteroid!

Players will be able to acquire raw asteroids for designing their own levels. Initially these Asteroids will be released as pre-designed levels that players kit out with attachment points for turrets, bots, and defenses. When our full level design kit (LDK) is released in 2024, players will be able to explore the creativity of mining out an asteroid and building a multiplayer map from within.

## Design your arena

Asteroids are the center of our creator revenue sharing design. An asteroid owners will use game assets to design maps for the STFUniverse. A live map will provide the owner with various faction based resources. Players will also have the ability to convert their asteroid to a digital collectable that can unlock further economic potential and be traded with other players on the blockchain.

## Collect resources

Both invaders and defenders (owner of an Asteroid Run) are able to collect materials correlating to success or failure of the invasion. These materials are used as part of the deep STFU crafting system.

## Asteroid Run Overview

* Each Asteroid Run comes with a budget of crystals that can be harvested, protector bots/turrets that defend, and power-ups scattered through the level.
* Asteroid owners will design their own coop level to the limits of their imagination as long as they fulfill certain level requirements such as the placing of the levels reactor.
* After completing the design of an Asteroid Run, the owner must recruit 2 friends to help them beat their level before it can become available to other players.
* Invading players then bring a team of 3 ships while trying to work their way through the map and blow the enemy reactor. Players are also able to focus on secondary missions such as mining and hauling out resources before the time expires.
