Cosmetic Mods
An initial overview of the Mod customizations
Dressed to impress
All ships have three cosmetic mods slots that the player can use to change how a ship looks. These slots include three primary categories.
Paint Job
A Paint Job is the overall visual design of your ship and could be as simple as a unique color change all the way to a completely unique design that resembles the base ship only in shape.
Decal
Decals are a way to slap on a mod to the side of your ship that could represent anything from your favorite food (who doesn’t want a ship with pizza on it?) to an obscure reference that we probably shouldn’t even have spent the time making (no spoilers).
Trails
Trails refer to lighting effects that trail behind your ship and/or ship emissive lighting effects.
