# Tech Trees

An initial overview of the Tech Tree customization for each ship.

## Specialize your tech

Tech Trees are ship specific upgrade trees that further define the role of a ship while focusing on certain growth parameters. 

Progressing through a ship's unique tech tree allows the player to choose upgrades that influence various ship stats such as that ship’s favorite weapon stats, damage, mining, agility, etc. 

While it takes time and resources to research and advance through the Tech Tree, the outcome will be worth it given all unlocks provide a net bonus to a ship’s playstyle.
